SWD 951 "Quik-Shield" AROMATIC POLYURETHANE ELASTOMER COATING

This is a 100% solid, aromatic modified polyurethane elastomer specifically formulated to be sprayed and applied for use as a high performance coating in a variety of commercial and industrial applications, requiring a high degree of impact, abrasion and corrosion resistance. Optional SWD-UV-51 "CLEAR-GARD" can be applied where a higher level of protection from Ultraviolet rays is desirable.

CHARACTERISTICS

ONE HUNDRED PERCENT SOLIDS
Solventless, two component, one coat system. Can be applied as thick as needed.

FAST CURE
Can be sprayed directly to sloping or vertical surfaces without creating drips or runs. On horizontal surfaces, will withstand foot traffic within 30 seconds of application.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
No VOC’s. No ozone depleting chemicals. No solvents.

HIGH THERMAL STABILITY
at temperature up to 350 F or as low a –15 F

EXCELLENT ADHESION
to metal, concrete, wood, fiberglass and other substrates

EASE OF APPLICATION
Can be applied with commercially available spray equipment. Can be pigmented to enhance appearance and improve light stability. Chopped glass reinforcement can be easily incorporated.

TRUCK BED LINERS - Protects against corrosion and impact damage. Reduces load slippage. Soundproofs truck bed from road noise.

ROOF AND DECK AND FLOOR COATINGS
Waterproof, seal and protect against elements and general wear and tear.

PIPE AND TANK LINERS
Protects against abrasion, corrosion and rust in metals; prevents leaching of concrete.

INDUSTRIAL MACHINERY
Abrasion, corrosion and impact protection.

This is a neoprene based contact cement formulated to be airless sprayed, designed expressly to enhance the adhesion of rigid polyurethane foams to various surfaces.

When applied to porous substrates (woods and concrete) and metal (aluminum and steel) and plastics (reinforced fiberglass and ABS plastic), etc. improves the adhesion of froth, pour-n-place, and spray-in-place polyurethane foam.

Designed to be sprayed through airless spray equipment. It may also be applied with a brush or roller. All surfaces should be clean and free from all moisture, oil, grease, loose particles, dust debris, and any other materials that would prevent maximum adhesion. Under normal clear weather conditions spray foam may be applied after 2 hours cure.
